Paula Banks is a licensed social worker and certified geriatric care manager through the National Association of Certified Care Managers, with over 30 years of clinical experience. She has helped hundreds of families navigate the complex world of health care and caregiving, make educated choices, and maximize their quality of life.
Paula's areas of expertise include elder care, post-acute care planning, probate court/expert witness in guardianship cases, and mental health advocacy.
WHAT IS A CARE MANAGER?
A Care Manager (sometimes called a geriatric care manager, aging life care specialist, etc.) assists clients & their families attain maximum functional potential and quality of life by coordinating care and support services and providing advice and resources.
Care Managers are able to address a broad range of issues related to the well-being of their client and share their extensive knowledge about the costs, quality, and availability of resources in their communities
